Context

As part of the continued growth of our Aerospace Practice, Ansam Enterprise Services is seeking a Principal Program Manager with proven experience leading large-scale transformation programs ($10M+).

The ideal candidate brings:

• Multi-country IT rollout experience

• Proven Executive Steering Committee (SteerCo) exposure

• Strong transformation governance capabilities

• Ideally, prior defense or aerospace compliance exposure

Your Mission

As Principal Program Manager, you will provide strategic leadership and executive governance to our customers for major compliance and transformation programs across multiple European locations.

You will contribute to strengthening our program management excellence while ensuring structured delivery of complex, multi-country initiatives operating under strict regulatory and business deadlines.

You will drive alignment across IT and business functions, ensuring transparency, control, and executive visibility throughout the program lifecycle.

Note: Monthly travel across Europe is required. Remote work is possible, provided a strong and consistent presence in our Zurich offices is maintained.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Governance & Strategic Oversight

• Provide executive-level governance for EU CMMC Phase I

• Align Global IT and Manufacturing Enclave initiatives

• Report directly to the Executive Steering Committee (SteerCo)

• Proactively identify, communicate, and escalate blockers or scope risks

Program Coordination & Stakeholder Alignment

• Coordinate EU/CH stakeholders across all sites

• Ensure alignment with CMMC assessors

• Oversee MSP and service provider deliverables

• Coordinate supply chain aspects with the Procurement team in Portugal

Risk, Milestones & Financial Oversight

• Identify, assess, and manage program risks

• Maintain structured escalation and mitigation processes

• Track milestones, dependencies, and critical paths

• Provide full visibility on budget, scope evolution, and interdependencies

Key Deliverables

Consolidated Program Oversight & Monitoring

Lead the end-to-end program governance framework, including development and maintenance of:

• Executive and operational dashboards

• Integrated master project schedules

• Issue logs and risk registers

• Decision logs

• Unified policy and documentation templates

• Supply chain coordination tracking mechanisms

Executive Reporting

• Deliver bi-weekly Executive Status Reports covering:

  • Achievements and progress

  • Risks and mitigation actions

  • Upcoming milestones

  • Required executive decisions

• Ensure continuous coordination with Global IT project managers (internal and external stakeholders)

Your Profile

Professional Experience

• 10+ years in program or portfolio management

• Proven experience leading complex, multi-country IT transformation programs

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and enterprise environments

• Experience in compliance-driven initiatives (CMMC not mandatory; NIST knowledge preferred)

Core Competencies

• Executive-level communication and stakeholder management

• Structured risk and issue management

• Cross-cultural coordination across European sites

• Governance framework implementation

• Budget, dependency, and portfolio oversight

• Advanced reporting and executive dashboard design

Language

• Fluent English (written and spoken)

• Leadership of $10M+ transformation programs

• Strong multi-country governance leadership

• Demonstrated ability to deliver under regulatory deadlines

• MSP/vendor governance experience (SLA oversight, performance management)

• Advanced dashboard maturity (risk heatmaps, executive dashboards, dependency mapping)

• Experience with NIST 800-171 or similar compliance frameworks

• Proven Executive SteerCo exposure
